AI Won’t Replace Great Support

I love efficiency, I love systems and I genuinely think AI and automation can make businesses operate far more smoothly but I also think there’s a huge misconception right now.

Technology can automate tasks but it can’t replace judgement, trust or understanding how someone actually works.  The best support is never just transactional, it’s about relationships and it’s human!

AI is brilliant for:

  • streamlining workflows

  • reducing repetitive tasks

  • improving efficiency

  • organising information

But great support still needs:

  • critical thinking

  • discretion

  • communication

  • prioritisation

  • commercial awareness

  • adaptability

The future isn’t “AI versus people”.  It’s people using AI intelligently to create better businesses and personally, I think the businesses that thrive over the next few years will be the ones that combine both well.
